Klasik Türk müziği
The art music tradition based on the makam and usul system, developed in the Ottoman palace, dervish lodges and urban circles; also known by names such as Turkish art music, Turkish mûsikî and Ottoman music.
The definitions were written in our own words, drawing on sources such as the TDV Encyclopedia of Islam, Yılmaz Öztuna's Encyclopedic Dictionary of Turkish Music and Wikipedia; pitch and interval values follow the Arel-Ezgi-Uzdilek system.
