He lived in the 18th century; sources record very little about his life. He is remembered as a composer of Turkish religious (Sufi lodge) music. He set to music the Regaibiyye written in 1761 by Abdullah Salahaddin-i Ushshaki (Salahi Dede), but this composition has not survived.[1, 2]
