Düm-tek pattern
In notation
Single-line notation: right-hand strokes (düm, te) above the line, left-hand strokes (tek, ke) below; durations shown as note values.
13/8: one cycle is 13 units; the width of each box is the length of the stroke.
Small usul 13 beats
A thirteen-beat usul that is half of the Evsat usul; it consists of a Türk aksağı and two sofyans and, like Evsat, ends on a düm. In the 13/8 and 13/4 mertebes it is used above all in ilahis and tevşihs, and in some şarkıs and türküs.
