Life
He was a composer of the late Ottoman and early Republican era; sources record him as Ciğercioğlu Kirkor Ağa and give his death as around 1940. His hicazkâr songs "Âlem içre bir kemân-ebrûyu buldum" and "Ey şûh-ı cefâ" appear in manuscript music collections of the period. His segâh song "Kaçtım bırakıp" is among his works that survive today.
